FACE
Facelift (rhytidectomy)
Discreet • Natural • SafeSurgical procedure to rejuvenate the face by tightening skin and underlying structures.
A facelift is a surgical procedure aimed at rejuvenating the face. It achieves effects such as tightened facial skin, especially along the jawline, smoothing deep wrinkles around the mouth and nose, and removing fatty "double chin" pockets.
During the procedure it is possible to also lift the forehead, eyebrows, and cheekbones. The surgery involves not only removing excess skin but also tightening deep facial structures for a long-lasting, natural result.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts between 3 and 5 hours. Hospital discharge is usually the day after the procedure.
Scars are located behind the ears and in the hairline and are generally inconspicuous after healing. Stitches are removed seven days after surgery, while patients return to regular activities after two weeks.
Often recommended in combination with other procedures such as forehead or eyelid lifts, laser or chemical peels.
In some cases it can be combined with liposuction and neck lift for optimal result.
